Susanne ran the LA Marathon in 1994 and then upon learning of Ben’s diagnosis founded Team Platypus in 2013 with Stephanie and ran Tinkerbell Half Marathon Disneyland LA 2014, Nike Women’s Half Marathon San Francisco 2014, Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska 2015, Cabo San Lucas Half Marathon 2016. Rock ‘n Roll San Diego 2016, Chicago Marathon 2016, Vancouver Half Marathon 2017, Rock ‘n Roll San Diego 2017 and coming up: Marine Corps Marathon DC 2017

Maureen has been Susanne’s running partner for years and she’s also known for her excellent bartending skills at Susanne’s yearly LLS fundraising cocktail party! Elisa has earned the triple crown of local half marathon races! The Carlsbad Half, the La Jolla Half and the America’s Finest City in 2015. She moved to Utah and will start supporting LLS from there soon!
